Is the Bryan Hall Learning Community
right for me?
If you answer "yes" to most of these
questions, Bryan is probably right for you:
- Do you want to be actively involved in your learning (going
beyond class assignments and making real world connections
to the material)?
- Does a service learning opportunity sound enticing to
you?
- Do you like to have conversations with your peers about
ideas, issues, and topics from your classes?
- Do you want to have conversations with scholars, experts,
and actively involved members of the campus community about
their projects and experiences?
- Do you have ideas about interesting events we could coordinate,
learning opportunities we could provide, or programs/activities
that Hall Government, your Residence Assistant, or your
Residence Coordinator might host?
- Do you want to help coordinate or facilitate in-house
events and activities to make this a thriving, actively-engaged
learning community?
- Do you want to go beyond your own major or course requirements
to experience a variety of perspectives in order to enrich
your own?
- Do you have talents to share and a sense of intellectual
curiosity and the desire to learn?
